Why brass music for my ceremony?
A brass ensemble has the unique ability to adapt musically to any ceremony setting, with the versatility to play strong and celebratory, or quiet and serenely. While strings or harp may be too quiet for an outdoor wedding, a brass quintet can be a perfect fit. And of course, a brass quintet is just as fitting for a traditional chapel wedding.

How much music do you play, and when?
This varies from wedding to wedding. However, the bulk of the ceremony music happens during the processional, while the mothers are seated, the bridal party enters, and as the bride walks down the aisle. We have played special music during the signing of the marriage license, during the lighting of candles, and we have even played special "remembrance music" for those who have recently passed. We also typically play for the recessional of the bride and groom, bridal party and family. We can also play music for the guests as they arrive and as guests are leaving, as well as during the cocktail hour just prior to the reception. We can cater to any unique ideas you may have.
Is there anything else I should consider?
Consider having La Bella Brass at your rehearsal, as it helps everyone involved to understand the flow of the wedding. Having us at the rehearsal would especially be helpful to the bridal party as the timing of the music is important for the processional and other times during the ceremony when music is played.
